Who we are
Saintfield Christmas Charity Ride Charitable Trust (Registered Charity No. NIC110259) operates this website to accept donations and event registrations in support of the Kabumba Model Village.
What data we collect
- Donations: name, email, optional phone, payment amount and date.
- Event registration: applicant name, contact name, email, optional phone, ticket selections.
- Newsletter: email and optional first name when you subscribe to updates.
- Portal accounts: login email and optional password if you choose to register.
- Technical data: session cookies, CSRF tokens, and consent preferences.
Why we use your data
- To process donations and issue receipts (contract / legal obligation).
- To register event attendees and issue e-tickets (contract).
- To send transactional emails such as receipts and tickets (contract).
- To manage donor relationships and reporting (legitimate interests).
- Marketing emails only with your explicit consent.
- To manage Gift Aid declarations and charity accounting (legal obligation).
Processors
We use Stripe for payment processing and an email service provider for transactional messages. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
Retention
Completed payment records are retained for up to seven years for charity accounting. You may request access, correction, or erasure via the donor portal, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
